Single Implant in Letterkenny
In some instances, a single tooth implant is all that may be needed to enhance the function and appearance of your smile. A full examination determines your suitability for this treatment and your functional and aesthetic needs. The implant is placed under local anaesthetic in our clinic and is left to heal for several months.
Our dental technicians will craft you a beautiful ceramic crown which we will attach to the implant once it has fused to your jaw. Occasionally we can provide the final crown earlier, but as a general rule we wait three months. In the interim we can provide a selection of temporary tooth replacements.

Dental CT Scanning
Dental CT scanning is a very useful tool in treatment planning for dental implants as it allows us to gauge the volume and quality of the jawbone available. It can also be used to help diagnose disease in the maxillary sinuses and nasal complex, as well as to examine individual teeth in complex endodontic (root canal) cases.
At 03 Dental we have our own state-of-the-art CBCT scanner, manufactured by Sirona in Germany. This is the XG3D scanner, one of only a few in Ireland. Damian Flanagan, our principal dentist, has done extensive training on this machine in London and Germany, as well as training on Cone Beam CT scanning. 03 Dental takes referrals for CT scanning, both dental and ENT.
